Details of IT Services
1. PC Troubleshooting.
a) Hardware problem (e.g. harddisk, RAM, Video, Audio, etc.).
b) Software problem or Operating System technical issues (all Microsoft Windows OS) (e.g. slow PC speed, network connectivity issues, Internet Browser issues, infamous ?Blue Screen of Death?, low virtual memory, forgot and need to reset Windows login password etc).
 
2. Creating total WIRELESS networking environment @ home.
a) Create a wireless printing environment so that all PCs can print wirelessly via 1 central printer.
b) Create a wireless harddisk storage system so that all PCs can store or view files via 1 central harddisk.
c) Create a Home wireless network environment so that all PCs in the same house can share and view files in each other?s computer.
d) Improve wireless signal (such that the wireless signal from wireless router can be improved without the need to lay long LAN cables anymore).
e) Improve wireless router security (such that it is impossible for your neighbours to tap onto your wireless router).
f) Remotely access and control PC 1 in your house from anywhere in the world (using another computer/ iphone).
g) Setup wireless ip camera with wireless router, plus configure dyndns and port forwarding, to help monitor home situation from anywhere in the world via internet access.
 
3. Enabling you to surf Internet or stream movies at your living room TV.
a) Setup an entertainment system to surf Internet and watch online movies from your living room TV, at the comfort of your sofa, with wireless keyboard and mouse. Similar to Samsung Smart TV concept.
b) Stream movies from your study room PC to your living room TV.
 
4. Backing up data/ Recovering data from your crashed PC/ harddisk
a) Perform data backup (such that if the data in harddisk 1 is corrupted, the same data will be backup in harddisk 2).
b) Recover data from a crashed storage media (e.g. thumbdrive/ harddisk/ memory card).
5. Tips for buying new PC/ new DIY PC/ upgrade PC.
a) New PC ? Provide recommendations to purchase a new PC/laptop, i.e. how to choose the correct specifications for your use (e.g. CPU speed, harddisk size, RAM size, DVD Writer, printer, scanner etc.)
b) DIY PC ? Provide recommendations on hardware specification. Provide service for installation of hardware of your choice, complete with software installation (OS).
c) Upgrade PC - Provide recommendations to upgrade your current PC (e.g. increase harddisk size, increase RAM SIZE, etc.).
 
OTHERS ? e.g.
a) Install new Operating System (e.g. current OS is Windows XP, wish to upgrade to Windows 7).
b) Partitioning of Harddisk (e.g. current harddisk is only C:drive, wish to create C:/D:/E: Drives).
